【About the Fountain Pen】
The AURORA OPTIMA has been manufactured and sold since the 1990s.
Its origins can be traced back to the OPTIMA DECO, which incorporated Art Deco designs from the 1930s, but the current Optima was refined in the 1990s.

The refined Optima has a design that respects ancient Greece and Rome.
The Greek lightning bolt on the cap band, often used in Italian fountain pens, is a design that the Romans respected from ancient Greek culture and was transmitted to the Great Han Empire through the Silk Road.

The celluloid acetate resin, produced with Aurora's unique formulation, is named Auroloide resin and is hand-carved by craftsmen one by one.

The piston-filling system with a reserve tank is excellent because even if the ink in the main tank runs out, you can continue writing by pushing the piston further to release ink from the reserve tank.
At first glance, it seems like you only need to manage the remaining ink in the main tank, but there are many situations where it is surprisingly helpful, providing a sense of security.
